Locale welcomes two new recruits
February 2012
Locale is hitting the ground running in 2012 and has hired two new members of staff starting January.
Reema Patel joins as Account Manager and brings with her several years’ experience from a similar role in a marketing communications agency – predominantly dealing with the property development industry. With an enthusiastic and ambitious nature, Reema will be assisting Guy with client services and project management as well as potentially developing areas of the business in line with this year’s objectives.
Carlie Wallington joins as Production Assistant and will be providing Dan with administration and customer service support. Carlie has relevant experience in customer service and hospitality, but is also eager to learn the ins and outs of web production – she is bright and focussed and hopes this role will become an abundant career path.
We welcome both Reema and Carlie to the team and look forward to another busy year ahead.
Seasonal sponsorship giveaway worth over £1000

Locale facilitated a December 2011 Christmas give-away entitling members the chance to win exclusive prizes sponsored by handpicked brands. To increase appeal and enable heightened interest from members the competition displayed across the member benefit section of our entire network as ‘Win Everything on this page’. In conjunction with the competition and to allow maximum exposure for brand partners new and existing, Locale invited featured brands to enjoy individual campaign pages. Brands were encouraged to feature through promotional pages to encourage traffic and click throughs.
Supported with live links in a promotional e-shot, and cross client newsletter feature circulated to our growing 2.5K members opted in to receive our communications, Locale enabled brands maximum exposure over at this key shopping time of the year. The Competition giveaway cumulatively enabled the distribution of over £1,000 worth of prizes ranging from an exclusive Connock London Beauty Hamper, to a unique Fudge Kitchen Fudge Making Experience, to experience days with Go Ape!
Locale win Website of the Year
December 2011
Locale were nominated for their work on the Strata community website at the recent NOTB Block Managers Awards. At a prestigious dinner held at Lords Cricket Ground and in front of the UK’s leading property and block managers, Locale won the award for Best Website ahead of very strong competition. The judges praised the website for its unique tailored approach and breadth of detail and information:
‘The Strata Occupiers Website impressed the judges by being tailored to the individual offering a breadth of service including a personal home organiser, a contact management system and for its clarity and information.’

Locale appointed for Finzels Reach

Locale has been appointed to develop a web community platform for the mixed use development Finzels Reach in the heart of Bristol.
The site will cater to residential, commercial and retail users, providing each with their specific needs online; from immediate access to the latest tenancy information, to an online helpdesk and concierge service.
Cathedral Group
November 2011
Locale has secured contracts to develop and maintain two projects for the innovative property developer at their two exciting new developments in Clapham: The Manor Building and The Library Building.
Due for completion later this year, Locale is implementing many new features for Cathedral Group and these service oriented sites.
